my only question is, what mp5 and ump equivialant is the terrorist team having, no mention (or pictures) of those
the terrorist have the MP5A3 and SF has the UMP

glad you guys like this.
please please make sure you check the media update on moddb too.
we are currently Rank 15 of 9,241 in the dailly views.
If we make it into the top 10 ranks we end up on the moddb
mod
front page, which is alot more exposure for TA.
If we make it into the top 5 ranks we end up on the moddb front page, which is alot more exposure for TA.
Thanks guys.
we are in top 10 now, 9th position
one more thing, about the G3, how do you put that gun on safe? shouldn't there be a switch for it

The Terrorists have the Mac-10 and MP5A3 - SF have the MP5k and the UMP

Mmmm not sure if its the render or the model but the fire mode select switch is missing too
anyway... this is the sort of thing we are working on now, straightening out the bugs.

I really recommend you give a direct link "button" (not just a url..) on your front page or in each news release at the bare minimum
A good suggestion indeed. I will put one up now before I forget (my mind is very small and can only remember a few things at a time
)

Cool, I like the Colt revolver very much. I have a model gun of it...
Hope it will do as much damage as it was in AoT
For the map "Fusion", I really like maps at night time or with some fog, because it gives people mysterious feelings.
Really amazing job!

Looking really sexy
Weapons are extremely well done. Can't wait to see some animations and hear the sounds
The Fusion map looks great. Though I'm not sure about the night scenario. Indeed the lighting looks ten times better like that but night maps never where that popular in TO:AoT. That reminds me. Will there be a flashlight, night-vision device and binoculars in TA? They never where really usefull for me but I was just wondering. If yes, are the models done yet? I mean there never where any flashlight and night-vision models in TO but it would be cool if you could see them.

Everything is great
Im looking to translate this news it to Russian and put it to some sites, but not today - I got homework
Good job!
BTW, some people here asking ingame screenshots with weapon in hand and player models, they saying "Im not believe they get them in game, it will be never released, blah-blah-blah...".

holy gosh, the ump looks like it could be chuck norris' favorite weapon, totally kicksass.
well the mossberg looks a little bit too oldschool for me, i expected something newer like the mossberg in aot.
PS: can you plz make the render images a little bit more brighter? they mostly look a little too dark.
only when a manually lighten it with irfanview, i can see details of the guns.
overall: kicksass media-release, cant wait for a game-release!

Seems that the first post was updated with a link to the webpage of TA on ModDB, but the URL is wrong (404 Page Not Found)...
Should be
Code:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/tactical-assault
instead of
Code:
http://www.moddb.com/tactical-assault

As someone mentioned; I hope to see flashlight, nightvision and binoculurs! in-game and really have them looking super sweet, TO has them at present and they are really underused with little night maps..
(I use the binoculurs all the time though)
if the nightvision was done correctly to actually benefit seeing in the dark unlike in buggy TOseries, I think there would be a larger audience with open arms to such map scenarios.

Hot damn!! Am I allowed to say that?
One question, is the Glock 18c the automatic version (used by The Joker in the Dark Knight) or the single and burst one?

I don't think anyone would say that they play rapids, trooper and scope simply because they're set in the daytime.
